In 1996 our Managing Director wanted to build a lastminute-style holiday travel site (which didn't even exist then),
but back in the "good old days" of simple html websites everyone she approached quoted 10's of 1000's of pounds to design what she wanted! 

So encouraged by family, an online USA based "webmaster" course was done, alongside a course from John Moores (Liverpool) covering everything from programming to graphic design, animation and including guerrilla marketing and, then from introductions of friends and family, started building websites.  The travel website has never been developed being so busy hosting and designing websites for others and a couple of 'fun' websites for herself - which have been nominated and won awards!

Since 1997, due to client requests, our services have expanded from simple web design to domain registration, web hosting and promotion/marketing of websites.

We can proudly say that we now offer a one stop internet/web service.
We can and will handle all a client's needs from the beginning of the project through to publishing the web site onto the Internet, along with any after marketing and promotion if required.
The main 'kernel' of our business now is hosting, advice on marketing and updating websites. 
We also have a database of freelance webdesigners and network engineers keen to design new sites and help develop company intranets.

After using the domain name "Papavero", which was bought to use for the travel company, in May 2005 we eventually became a limited company, using a more 'English' sounding name - Cheshire Web Services Limited.
